Prof. C. M. Thyagaraja Vice Chancellor Rani Channamma University Belagavi. Dr. C.M. Thyagaraja stands as a distinguished leader in academia. with a remarkable career spanning over 35 years in Teaching, Research, and Administration. Presently serving as the Vice-Chancellor of Rani Channamma University, he has played a pivotal role in shaping educational policies and practices, notably as the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce & Management and a Senior Professor in the Department of MBA. Dr. C. M. Thyagaraja’s journey began in the scenic Chickmagalur District of Karnataka, where he completed his early schooling and later obtained Graduation and Post Graduation with distinction and rank from Mysore University. He holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management with a top rank from Kuvempu University, and his insightful research on the “Problems and Prospects of Goods Transport” earned him a Ph.D. from Kuvempu University.
An accomplished author, Dr. Thyagaraja has penned 13 books and over 82 articles published at national and international levels, covering topics such as human resource planning and managerial economics. As a founder chairman of the department of MBA, he has streamlined curricula and examination processes, ensuring a student-centric approach that resonates with students, parents, and faculty alike. His research has garnered recognition, with funded projects from UGC. Eleven of his scholars have taken up research and completed on multiple topics of contemporary interest.
Dr. C. M. Thyagaraja served Karnataka State Skill Development Corporation as Executive Director and dedicated his talent to upgrade Employment Exchanges into Houman Resource Centers. He organized more than 90 Job Fairs at various parts of Karnataka to help the youth in their path of employability. Government of United Kingdom invited him for the Round Table on English Language Skills for Employability. His extensive administrative experience is complemented by his contributions to examination reforms at various universities, including Bangalore Central University, Kuvempu University and Rani Channamma University.
Beyond academia, Dr. C. M. Thyagaraja is a dedicated motivator and trainer, having conducted workshops on Leadership, Skill Development, and Personal Growth. His advocacy for Women Empowerment, Environmental Protection, and Socio-Economic development highlights his commitment to socialissues. As a sought-after keynote speaker and panelist at over 80 National and International Workshops and Seminars he inspired the next generation of leaders. Recognized for his contributions, Dr. C.M. Thyagaraja is an esteemed member of several professional organizations, including NSQF, IEA, and IMA, AMIS. His dedication to youth empowerment and community development continues to make a significant impact in Karnataka and beyond. Dr. C. M. Dr. Sushma R. is an Associate Professor and the current Dean and Chairperson of the School of Education at Rani Channamma University, Belagavi. A highly qualified academic, she holds an M.A., M.Ed., is UGC-NET qualified, and earned her Ph.D. with a specialized thesis on the effectiveness of memory training packages for secondary school students.Fluent in Kannada, English, and Hindi, she provides strategic leadership to the department and can be reached via her university email or mobile for academic and administrative inquiries.
Her instructional expertise covers Research Methodology, Educational Technology, and Inclusive Education, building on earlier foundational roles at Kuvempu University and various colleges of education.
As a research supervisor, she has guided 6 Ph.D. scholars (with 2 degrees awarded) and mentored 35 Master’s-level dissertations. Complementing her academic work, she is highly proficient in statistical software (SPSS) and advanced computing, including database management and multimedia tools

His research contributions include authoring 20+ book chapters, completing two funded research projects, and serving as a Ph.D. guide. Dr. Yarriswamy M.C. is a highly qualified academic professional born on June 25, 1971, in Chikkagondanahally, Karnataka. He holds an extensive educational background, including a Ph.D. and multiple Master’s degrees in Psychology, History, and Education, complemented by a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education (P.G.D.H.E.) Dr. Yarriswamy M.C. is an experienced research supervisor with a proven track record in academic mentorship and evaluation. Between 2009 and 2022, he successfully guided 8 Ph.D. scholars and one M.Phil. student to completion, along with 30 M.Ed. dissertations.He currently supervises 8 doctoral candidates at Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, and has adjudicated 47 Ph.D. theses across various Indian universities since 2016.
